I am assuming that your point is that if you are having sex with a virgin, you dont have to worry about STDs so there is no need to wait until marriage to have sex. If this is what youre saying, then there are several other issues that you have to think about:
1. Can you be positive that the person is being honest about his/her sexual history?
2. Even if they are technical virgins, there are some very common skin-to-skin diseases that can
be easily contracted without having intercourse (Herpes, genital warts, Syphilis).
3. What about pregnancy? The bottom line is that even if you use a condom, there is a chance that
you could get pregnant. Are you ready to support a child right now?
4. The earlier you start having sex, the more sex partners you will have over the course of your
lifetime. How will all those broken sexual relationships affect your self esteem, your emotional well-being and your future marriage?
It kind of sounds like youre caught up in the moment and not thinking of the big picture here.
What you do is on you, but make sure that whatever decision you make is well thought out and based on factual information, not just on temporary feelings. |
